JOE KENNEDY has written music for various instruments for many years. He has performed with Chet Baker, Dewey Redman, Lou Donaldson, Ritchie Cole, and Etta James among others. Joe earned his B. A. degree in music from Sonoma State University, where he studied Jazz piano with Mark Levine. He received his Master’s degree in Jazz Studies from The University of Southern California, where he studied piano and composition with Shelly Berg. While continuing to perform on piano and other keyboards in the Los Angeles area, he has recently begun serious study of the mighty Hammond organ with the great Tony Monaco.
